And what a sight!

For the past few days, I've been hearing several helicopters flying around. And today, I found out the reason why.

We went to music lessons today, you know, the basic routine. Then I find out from my sister's music teacher that very close by, they are filming one of my favorite television shows, "Revolution". If you don't know the plot of this program, allow me to explain it, or better yet, allow me to let the folks of IMDB explain it:

"Our entire way of life depends on electricity. So what would happen if it just stopped working? Well, one day, like a switch turned off, the world is suddenly thrust back into the dark ages. Planes fall from the sky, hospitals shut down, and communication is impossible. And without any modern technology, who can tell us why? Now, 15 years later, life is back to what it once was long before the industrial revolution: families living in quiet cul-de-sacs, and when the sun goes down lanterns and candles are lit. Life is slower and sweeter. Or is it? On the fringes of small farming communities, danger lurks. And a young woman's life is dramatically changed when a local militia arrives and kills her father, who mysteriously - and unbeknownst to her - had something to do with the blackout. This brutal encounter sets her and two unlikely companions off on a daring coming-of-age journey to find answers about the past in the hopes of reclaiming the future."

I would totally recommend this show to you guys. It's pretty action packed and will keep you on your seat every minute.

So, back on track. I got very excited. So after lessons were finished, my mom drove us past the area where they were set up to film. It was actually right in the middle of town, in the old stockyards. And we get there, and lone behold there are lots of cars and trailers and lights and stuff set up. It was really neat! I was almost hoping one of the actors would appear so I could get a picture, but sadly, the weather is really nasty today, so I'm guessing they were probably all keeping warm in their trailers.

Nothing else much is going on. I thought this might be an interesting post for you all to read. And like I said, do the check the show out if you aren't watching it already!

My mom and I started watching that. It was very good at first, but we quit it after hearing that language and the open door for weirdness, y'know? Plus I'm just not really that into non-fantasy/sci-fi things, so it got kinda boring to me. lol

But hey, pretty exciting they're filming it near you!! :)
